Before i go into the requested critique i would like to explain myself for stopping the drawing of animate beings.

In Islam the belief is that when a person creates a sculpture of an animate being or draws a picture of one for non-educational reasons, they are competing with God. So, on the day of judgement those artists would be asked to put life into that which they have created but ofcourse humans can't do such a thing. So they would be put into hell because they decided to create human sculptures and drawing as perfect as the real thing even though they were warned. But drawing for educational purposes such as biology diagrams that might teach a doctor to save somebody's life are ok. Or a drawing of a criminal so that his face may be known so he can be caught is also fine to do. So you see drawing animate beings just for leisure or entertainment purposes is useless. So, we should take out God given talent and try to use it in the best way possible.

Basically the whole basis of islam is on cleanliness. This includes cleanliness of mind, body, soul, speach etc. Any kind of art that would create un-pure thoughts is not permitted because it makes the mind dirty. Similarly tatoos and such are not allowed on the body because they scar the perfect skin that you have been given by God. It's almost as if man is competing with God and saying "i can make myself look better than what you have created by scaring my body with imagery that is man-made". Same goes for talking, listening and seeing. If you are capable of doing so then stop involving yourself with things that cause un-pure thoughts. That is the reason Alcohol and Drugs are prohibited as well. They hinders your ability to think properly which is a known fact and not some myth.

After all, we have to answer for every deed. A name and fame will not follow you to the grave. That's why i had also deleted all my previous work. But i had to re-upload it due to people trying to make money off of my work illegally. Even though i don't create cartoons anymore i still take responsibility for my deeds. Because your deeds are the only thing that says with you even after death.
